Although this may sound like such a complicated name, the AAFPE, or American Association for Paralegal Education, is a group that has quite a bit of work for all the paralegal staff all over the US. They have worked hard to provide all kinds of different resources for the paralegals in that type of field.

Paralegals are people who work close with all different kinds of lawyers to help provide support and extra help that is needed for the lawyers.  Paralegals are often authorized to handle many different legal situations and paperwork that are given by the lawyers that they work for. Paralegals have often had an educational background with the legal system. Usually they have also taken classes that help them with understanding all the information that they are working with. Paralegals also have a very strict moral code that they are required to follow. These morals and ethical codes that they are required to follow have rules that say certain things that they can and cannot do.

The AAFPE is an organization that is designed to work for all the paralegals in the law field to help them to have all the correct information for any case that they might be working on. The AAFPE is also working to raise the standards for those coming into the field as well as providing a way for people to use the resources that they provide for all the paralegals in the field right now.
