The Electronic Privacy Information Center, or EPIC, is an organization based solely on civil rights and privacy. This organization has not been around very long but that are working to get their foot in the door and make an impression on society.

The goal of EPIC is provide up to date information on any civil liberty issues that are going on in the media or in society right now. They are also working to make sure that any privacy issues are brought to the public eye. They want to keep everyone informed about all new information that pertains to any type of privacy concerns that people in the public might have right now.

EPIC was started in 1994 and has been trying ever since to grow both in numbers and in support. They are constantly sending out emails and newsletters via the web. They hope to use this technique to gain support from areas all over the US. EPIC has also started working on freedom of speech rights and incorporating them into all of the other civil rights support that they are working on. They are hoping to gain lots of new support this year to really push all of their goals over the top. EPIC is constantly working to make sure that people are aware of their civil rights and any policies on privacy. This organization is working to provide open forums for anyone to speak out about all the issues they might be facing.
