Human Rights First is an organization that believes in exactly what their name says. They believe in human rights coming first and protecting them first and foremost. This organization doesn’t simply protect Americans but also people from other countries who have fled to America for one reason or another. The members of this organization are a group of lawyers who are fighting to protect the civil rights of other people.

Human Rights First also advocates change at the highest of levels. They want to see the people in all of the higher up positions understand what is happening and try their best to make a difference and change things. This organization also wants and hopes to raise awareness about these critical issues. They hope that by making people aware of these situations, it will help to change the future.

This non-profit organization works with a lot of different other groups to promote the understanding that rights must come first. Although they do have people that they might not necessarily get along with, they try to keep peace between all the different organizations. Human Rights First also will help refugees fleeing persecution, victims of human rights violations,  and other victims of discrimination. They are all about helping those who have been victimized in any way as a result of going against someone’s civil rights in the US. This organization feels that your rights should always come first and always be protected.
